OPTE consults with the Boston Public Schools’ teachers, administrators, district-level staff, as well as other identified key personnel and school leaders. The Opportunity and Achievement Gap Policy Consultant will consult teachers, school leaders, and district-level staff to help ensure the formulation of system-wide anti-racist goals, initiatives, and implementation plans to improve the academic and social-emotional outcomes of historically marginalized student populations. OPTE will focus their Boston Pubic Schools’ consulting efforts on the 2016 Policy to Eliminate Opportunity Gaps, by improving the academic and social-emotional outcomes of historically marginalized student populations.
